Dentists, hygienists needed for outreach in March and April

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (KT) – Christian dentists have an opportunity to help others maintain oral health and learn about Jesus through mobile clinics across Kentucky.

The Kentucky Baptist Convention, in partnership with Seed to Oaks ministries, is seeking dental professionals and assistants to volunteer and staff a state-of-the-art mobile unit in eight cities during March and April.

The initiative, called Whole Health Kentucky, provides medical professionals a means to use their skills and knowledge to not only restore the physical health of communities, but help churches serve a community’s spiritual needs.

KBC will be working with local churches to provide clinics in Bowling Green, Covington, Frankfort, Hopkinsville, Lexington, Louisville, Pikeville and Williamsburg. Dentists and dental assistants are needed in each city.

Anyone interested in volunteering for one of the Saturday clinics should contact, KBC Missions Mobilization Ministry Assistant Sitha Powell or (502) 489-3403.
