Christian & Jewish scrolls on display one day only at Capitol

FRANKFORT, Ky. (KT) – Chaplain Steve Weaver will host an artifact and scroll exhibit at the state Capitol on Wednesday, March 28th from 11 am to 3 pm.

This event is free and open to the public on the second floor of the Capitol.

The late medieval scrolls, some of which are believed to have been airlifted out of Nazi territories during World War II, are being exhibited for their historic, social, literary and artistic value. The exhibit will include several Torah scrolls, a scroll of the book of Esther, a rare 600 year old Taj Torah, and more.

The exhibit is being offered by MIKRA Corp.

Weaver said he will host a pre-event brunch for pastors and others to provide more information about his ministry at the Capitol.
