Pause, regroup and find inspiration to REACH out with the gospel

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (KT) - Take a break from the routine and be inspired again to reach more people with the gospel.

The REACH Evangelism Conference, in its new turbo-charged mobile format, is ready to encourage churches to be more intentionally evangelistic.

The Kentucky Baptist Convention is taking REACH on the road with one-day conferences in four locations and a great line-up of speakers in tow.

Passionate men like evangelist Johnny Hunt, pastor of First Baptist Church of Woodstock, Ga. and Vance Pitman, senior pastor of Hope Church in Las Vegas. Bowling Green's Hillvue Heights Church Pastor Steve Ayers and Southern Seminary's Timothy Beougher. Alvin Reed, of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, church planting director Jay Hardwick, of South Carolina Baptist Convention, and other leaders in student, women and missional evangelism.

"We are so excited to be able to offer such passionate gospel communicators," said KBC Church Evangelism Strategist Andy McDonald.

Each regional conference contains two parts: REACH University, an in-depth equipping session in the afternoon, and an evangelism worship rally filled with dynamic preaching in the evening. Kentucky Baptist pastors, staff and lay leadership are invited to attend one or, preferably, both depending on personal schedules.

"REACH, especially the evening portion, is for all church members to be equipped and inspired in gospel sharing" McDonald said. "Pastors, help your church get equipped to carry the gospel message to your community and beyond."

The REACH Evangelism Conference will be held in Kentucky's four geographical quadrants to make getting there easy.

REACH North, March 13 at Union (Ky.) Baptist Church.

REACH East, March 15 at Rose Hill Baptist Church in Ashland, Ky.

REACH West, March 20 at Edgewood Baptist Church in Hopkinsville, Ky.

REACH South, March 22 at Main Street Baptist Church in Williamsburg, Ky.

"When we do the work of evangelist, we make up our mind that evangelism is our job and God will work through us to reach others for Christ," said KBC Evangelism Team Leader Todd Gray.
